Cancellation Policy

"AKIBA OTAKU" (hereinafter, "the Company") has established the following cancellation policy to ensure customers can use our services with peace of mind. Please be sure to read this policy before making a reservation.

1. Cancellations Due to Customer's Circumstances

If a tour is canceled due to the customer's personal reasons, a cancellation fee will be charged as follows:

  • 19 days to 5 days before the tour date:

    20% of the tour fee

  • 5 days to 1 day before the tour date:

    50% of the tour fee

  • On the day of the tour or in case of no-show:

    100% of the tour fee

  • However, for customized tours, we will charge for the prepaid amount (such as ticket fees) and the tour creation fee.

2. How to Cancel

Customers who wish to cancel should contact us at the following email address. We will send a confirmation email once the cancellation has been accepted.

  • - The cancellation is complete upon receiving a confirmation email from us.
  • - Please note that cancellations made outside of business hours will be processed on the next business day.

3. Cancellations by the Company

In the following cases, the tour may be canceled by the Company. In such cases, no cancellation fee will be charged, and the full amount will be refunded.

  • - When it is determined that safe tour operation is difficult due to natural disasters, transportation strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • - When the minimum number of participants required for the tour is not met. (In the event of cancellation, we will notify you at least two days before the tour date.)
