Custom Multi-Day Tour

カスタムツアー

Beyond Tokyo. Across Japan. Tell us what you love — specific anime studios, Mt. Fuji pilgrimage, Ghibli Museum, Kyoto shrines, Osaka maid cafés, a concert you want to see, a convention weekend — and we'll design a multi-day adventure around it. No templates. Just you.

Overview

Most tours give you a route. This one gives you a collaborator.

We start with a conversation — video call, email, whatever works. You tell us your dream trip: the series you want to walk through, the places you've seen in anime and can't stop thinking about, the festivals or exhibitions you want to hit, the non-anime things you still want to do (onsen, shrines, eating). We handle the logistics — transport, timing, reservations, tickets, translation, the whole skeleton.

Then we travel with you for the duration. 2 days, 5 days, 10 days. Tokyo, Kyoto, countryside, studios, events. Whatever your trip looks like, we're there to make it work.

Sample 3-day itinerary

An example of what a 3-day anime pilgrimage might look like — yours will be completely different, but this gives you a feel for pacing:

DAY 01 — Tokyo
Akihabara deep-dive + anime pilgrimage stops
Morning shopping in Akihabara, afternoon car tour through Your Name / Weathering With You locations, evening themed café or maid café experience.
DAY 02 — Mt. Fuji
Kawaguchiko & scenic pilgrimage
Early departure by train or car. Fuji-viewing spots, Yurucamp locations if desired, onsen in the afternoon, return to Tokyo or overnight in Kawaguchiko.
DAY 03 — Kyoto (option A)
Shinkansen to Kyoto & K-On! locations
Morning bullet train to Kyoto. Toyosato Elementary School (K-On! setting), Fushimi Inari Shrine, Nishiki Market, optional anime-themed café in Kyoto Station.
DAY 03 — Ibaraki (option B)
Oarai — Girls und Panzer pilgrimage
Day trip from Tokyo to Oarai, the real-life town that is Girls und Panzer's setting. Full pilgrimage loop, meet with local shops, seafood lunch at the harbor.

How it works

Here's the typical booking flow:

STEP 01 — Inquiry
Tell us about your trip
Fill out the contact form with your dates, interests, favorite series, and anything else that matters. The more detail, the better.
STEP 02 — Consultation
Video or email planning call
We propose an initial outline, you give feedback, we refine. Usually 1–3 rounds of back-and-forth until the plan feels right.
STEP 03 — Quote
Transparent itemized pricing
Guide fee, transport, any pre-booked tickets, estimated extras — all itemized. You see exactly what you're paying for before confirming.
STEP 04 — Pre-tour
Bookings & prep
We secure tickets (Ghibli Museum, events, concerts), arrange cars/drivers where needed, send you a pre-tour brief.
STEP 05 — The trip
We travel with you
Guide, driver (if applicable), translator, photographer, and logistics problem-solver — all in one. You focus on enjoying it.

Pricing

Because every trip is different, we don't have a fixed rate. As a rough guide, multi-day private tours typically run from ¥50,000 to ¥120,000 per day depending on car use, group size, event tickets, and distance covered. Accommodation and your personal expenses (meals, shopping, tickets) are separate.

We always provide an itemized quote before you commit. No surprises.

Moments from past tours

Good to know

Q.How far in advance should I book?
Minimum 3 weeks for simple multi-day tours. 6–8 weeks if Ghibli Museum or major event tickets are involved (those release on specific dates and sell out).
Q.Do you book my hotels?
We can recommend and book on your behalf, or you can book yourself. Most guests prefer to book their own hotels (more flexibility on points/rewards), and we optimize the route around where you're staying.
Q.What about Ghibli Museum tickets?
Tickets go on sale on the 10th of each month, one month in advance. For a June visit, tickets release May 10. We monitor the release and book on your behalf — success isn't guaranteed (high demand) but we have a good track record with advance planning.
Q.Can you accommodate large groups?
Up to 8 guests comfortably with a larger vehicle. Beyond that, we can split into parallel tracks or coordinate multiple vehicles. Discuss when inquiring.
Q.Do you speak English / translate?
Fluent English. Translation included wherever needed — at shops, shrines, ticket counters, restaurants. You won't hit a language wall.
Q.What if I need to cancel?
See our Cancellation Policy. Short version: full refund 8+ days out, partial refunds closer in, tickets already purchased on your behalf are non-refundable.
